God I’ve been thinking about you being my Creator and My High and Holy God.  It is good to look at your word and see what you say about creation and how we are created in your image.  I know all this but it is good to be reminded afresh of how great you are.  That was the first chapter of the Bible study, Lord, I want to Know You that is about the names of God.  It is awesome to remember that before I was in the womb you were aware of me.  And that you knit me together in my mother’s womb in a very wonderful way.  You were aware of me when I was in secret before birth – wonder and awesome to behold.  Thank you, Jesus you too were there as well as the Holy Spirit as the trinity is one God but has different personalities or characteristics. Father, I quiet my heart to hear your voice.

“Child you have heard my voice quite regularly.  You are beginning to listen better.  That is good but now you write and remember what is said just as David did.  Yes, as you go over the beginning, you remember your beginnings.  You call to mind the things that have been and will be.  You see the strength of my right arm to help, to comfort, to grant solace, to deliver, to free from bandage.  My friends and my servants do well to listen to the commander.  You have chosen a good part – to listen.  As Jesus praised Mary for listening so too I am glad to have your ear.  Child, you are a treasure to my heart.  You listen and you spend time with me.  I love you and I love having you do that.

You see, love is cultivated when time is spent with another.  You need to cultivate and water it just as a gardener does his seeds, plants and flowers.  You cultivate your relationship with me so that I can shine through your face more clearly.  You hear my words so that others may hear them from you.  You see how it works – like a reflection in a looking glass.  You have to sit before me, at my feet, listening, in order to have that reflection show outwardly.  You are dong that, child, good for you.

Now I sense that the word you need to hear this morning is LOVE.  Love is gentle, kind and considerate, able to bear up under wrongs, patient and loving toward others.  Love is the word for this year for you.  Practice it, not only with your husband but use it as in compassion toward others.  Consider them more highly than yourself.  Open your heart to them.  Take the time to listen, to observe, to know each as you talk with them.  In your ministry, let my love flow through you to their thirsty hearts.  There are many around you need to have a touch from the Master let it come through you.”

I will, Lord, help me to be self controlled in this to listen and to allow you to shine through.  Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with the Father’s glory, blaze, Spirit, blaze, set our hearts on fire.  Flow the river of your spirit, flow, till we are overcome with your love. Alleluia!  I bow in humble adoration of your goodness, your love, your greatness, Lord.  I love you!

I shall dwell in the secret place of the Most High I shall abide under the shadow of the

Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him I will trust.

Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings I shall take refuge;

His truth shall be my shield and buckler

I shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day,

Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall

not come near me.

Only with my eyes shall I look and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made the Lord who is my refuge, even the most high, my dwelling place,

No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling

for he shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.

In their hands they shall bear me up, least I dash my foot against a stone.

I shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent

I shall trample underfoot.

Because you have set your love upon me, therefore you will deliver me

you will set me on high, because you have known my name.

I shall call upon you and you will answer me,

you will be with me in trouble; you will deliver me and honor me.

With long life, you will satisfy me and show me your salvation.

Thank you, Lord for the gratefulness you have put in my heart.  I wait in silence to your voice of love.

“Child, you know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not to harm.  I want you to continue to release your mind to hear more from the depths of the Almighty.  You have learned to open the door of your heart and soul to the One who loves you with an everlasting love.  You know the joy of communion with the Everlasting One.  You hear the songs that I send in the night.  You taste the fullness of the Holy Spirit that I have sent.  I love you, child.  I would that more of my people would seek and find me.  You have been my instrument to break those chains that have bound them and to release them through the power of my Spirit to hear more and see more of the spiritual realm.  That is good.  Of course, I want more to know that freedom.  Continue to pray for it continue to work for it continue to listen to the truth that I send to my servants – those who have been in this particular ministry longer than you.  Bring your heart to the truth and then respond to it.  Do not stop up the wells of joy that I bring.  Unstop them by allowing my living water to gush up through the innermost part of your being.  Sing and dance for joy.  Allow my Spirit flow unhindered in your times of refreshing.  I send it with joy that you will receive it.”

Thank you, Father I receive your goodness.  I receive your affirmation.  I receive your love.  Oh, great is your faithfulness, great is your goodness, great is your love. Abba, I love you.

“Child, you have put the things on paper that needed to be brought out in the open.

Now turn your attention to those things that are holy and healthy.

Turn your mind to praise, turn your mind to better things.

Don’t keep dwelling on the things that hold you back.

Don’t keep looking at those things that are of sorrow and of loss but look at things that are possible and things that are good that are happening.

Yes, there are exciting things happening – the church building – the people that are coming to the group and how they are growing – the ability to use your hands and create something beautiful for others to wear.

All of these things are good and you should be looking at those and thanking me for them.”
